Ed M is correct about setting money aside for repair. The problem is that most people don’t do it. AHS is as good as any and better than a lot lot of them. They have several plans available. The cheaper plans have a higher co pay. If the appliance cannot be repaired or repair exceeds the value . They will give you a % of the value on a new one. I don’t believe they cover water softeners. They are easy for you and the technician to deal with and are always courteous. I have dealt with them for years as a technician.
